Penmarc’h and its spectacular landscapes
From your campsite in Penmarc’h, discover a wide variety of landscapes: the port of Saint-Guénolé, the Eckmühl lighthouse and the windswept coastline all combine rocky shores with vast dune stretches.
Following the GR34 coastal path, you’ll quickly come across the famous rock formations of Saint-Guénolé. Shaped by wind and sea spray, they resemble animals and figures — rabbit ears, a rhinoceros, a corkscrew, a turtle… a natural playground for the imagination.
On windy days, head to Saint-Guénolé to watch the ocean in all its power — a striking and unforgettable sight.
Don’t miss the Eckmühl lighthouse, a historic landmark just 5 minutes from the campsite. From Steir Beach, you can already spot it in the distance, by day or night. After dark, its lights create an even more dramatic atmosphere. Climb to the top (65 metres) to enjoy panoramic views over the Bigouden region and Audierne Bay.
Pointe de la Torche — a must for surfing
Just a few minutes away, Pointe de la Torche is a protected natural site and one of the most iconic spots in Brittany. This peninsula combines wild beauty with endless possibilities.
